HELLO, ANY MOOS?
To prepare for this painting (20 x 25 cm on canvas) I spent a lovely few hours gazing at a mountain. It was a real pleasure to sit in a field with the sun on my face, sketching the fields laid out before me and appreciating the landscape.
The mountain (Sliabh na Mban, Tipperary) is hidden by a calf. Quite a few of them gathered around me that day, all gentle and curious.
