Women’s circle (perimenopause wisdom)


Education and support around menopause has been seriously lacking until recently, so if it’s a bit of a mystery to you, you are not alone! The good news is, as it is in everything, you are never too young or too old to learn.

Perimenopause can be a 10-year journey, so it is important that we know how to observe any changes in ourselves.

When women gather to share in a circle, solidarity, laughter, and learning are guaranteed, and I look forward to welcoming you.


Natural (and hugely significant) hormonal shifts usualllly occur in the mid-40s to mid-50s. This can bring physical changes and emotional turmoil, but midlife is also the start of a new chapter, and that’s exciting.

By being aware of what happens (and why) we can take better care of ourselves and know when to seek support.

My body has experienced many transitions including broken bones and healing, vitality, illness, and back again, the miracle of motherhood…

I am now in the perimenopause phase of life.

For 5 years I explored women’s wellbeing through my arts practice. I’ve studied the sociology of health at MA level, and last Winter I qualified in ‘Teaching yoga for the stages of menopause’.
